Celebrating Alexis – MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling

I’m so excited to share some highlights from a recent session celebrating Alexis’s incredible achievement — earning her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego!

For her session, Alexis wanted to capture some of her favorite study spots around campus, places that hold special meaning to her journey. I absolutely loved this idea because it made the shoot so personal and meaningful — a true reflection of all the hard work, growth, and memories that got her to this point.

This session was particularly close to my heart because I’m also a proud graduate of the same program! Having had the chance to work alongside Alexis at a local community health clinic, I can personally attest to her warmth, compassion, and dedication as a therapist. She is going to do incredible things, combining her research background with her new clinical skills.

We had the best time walking around this beautiful campus, reminiscing about her time here and celebrating this huge milestone.

If you’re thinking about getting graduation photos, I highly recommend taking a similar approach — choosing spots on campus that hold special memories. When you look back at your images, they’ll not only mark your achievement but also tell the story of your journey.

Congratulations again, Alexis — I can't wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do next!

Jenny Williams | Headshots

Therapist, Jenny Williams has been supporting clients in Manhattan for years, so when I had the chance to visit her in her new neighborhood, Cold Spring, just north of the city, I totally understood why she hasn't looked back. This charming town gave us the perfect mix of historical architecture and her cozy, naturally lit home, which made it the ideal spot to update her website with some fresh headshots. We wanted these images to capture jenny’s warmth, professionalism, and with her modern style.

Huge thanks to Jenny for letting me pick her brain about what it's like to live a day in the life as a therapist while we created these warm, personal photos for her new site.

Martha Miller | Headshots

Actress Martha Miller reached out to update her headshots for her acting portfolio, and Park Slope Brooklyn gave us the perfect natural backdrop. I've lived in this neighborhood for just over a year, and I’m totally in love with the townhouses and the tree-lined streets. New York in the spring is just magical—it literally takes my breath away. And honestly, do I even need to mention that Martha glows no matter where you put her? It was such a fun session, especially getting to chat about her upcoming role in The Cleaning Lady, coming soon to Fox TV.

If you're an actress in the New York area looking to update your headshots, I can’t recommend a street shoot in Park Slope enough. The images are truly unforgettable!

Jenn Blosil | Album Art

Back in October, Jenn and I wanted to create some laid-back, iconic album art for her upcoming music release. I’m so happy with how the photography captures Jenn’s effortless beauty. The Griffith Observatory gave us so much to work with, from its stunning lookouts to the unique archways—it was the perfect backdrop for what we were going for.

If you’re an artist in the Utah area looking to create content, LA is a quick trip and such a goldmine. There’s an endless variety of textures, parks, and spots to explore, no matter the season. Huge thanks to Jenn for making the trip out and for documenting such a memorable time in both her music and life.
